Nepali participants in Foreign shows

Every one resist talents, only the thing that matters, is the right way of seeking those talents. There are many shows in the international platform that promotes every talent. As we have a Nepali saying- “khane mukh lai junga le chhekdaina” (literally means no one can stop one’s desire to display their talent), our Nepali talents are also pursuing a chance to show their proficiency whether within Nepal or any other country.

Here we have listed our Nepalese Talents who were able to win our hearts in TOP shows:

  1. Pradeep Gurung:

    He is a splendid dancer who auditioned for “DANCE INDIA DANCE season 3, 2012” and passed different phase of the competition. He won 1st runner up of the show from Terence ki Toli. We are glad to have such talents in our country.

  2. Sushant Khatri:

    Sushant Khatri is a Nepali boy who is one of the top 4 finalist of the dancing reality show “DANCE + season 2”, along with Wild Ripperz. He came to spotlight after his dazzling performance in the audition. His fantastic dance moves mesmerized the viewers and judges. He was able to grab 3rd runner up position of the show from team Shakti.

  3. Wild Ripperz:

    They are a Nepali Hip Hop dance crew to represent Nepal in Indian Dancing Reality Show- “DANCE + season 2, 2016”. Member of Wild Rippers are: Ron Singh, Kiran Singh, Buddha Lama, Sagar Rai, Santosh Darji, Saul James, Surain Rai, Suraj Thapa Magar and Suman Tamang. Their dancing is superb and they proved it by winning different competitions. They won 1ST runner up of DANCE + from team Dharmesh. Not only that, their achievements includes: Channel V All India Vfest 2015, UDMS Mumbai Championship 2014, NIMS Championship 2014, Pune Fest 2014 and India’s Best Dance Crew 2016.

  4. Prashant Tamang:

    How can we forget this guy? He is the first Nepali representative from Darjeeling in International Singing Platform “INDIAN IDOL season 3, 2007”.  After the demise of his father in an accident, Prashant left school and joined Kolkata Police as a constable in his father’s place. His talent not only makes us proud but also, unites us. All Nepalese voted him even from foreign countries. So, he got about 10 times more votes (70 millions) than his competitor, Amit Paul.

  5. Teriya Magar:

    Our 15 years old Nepali girl from small village Rudrapur, Rupandehi district has now become one of the popular celebrity after winning two Indian dancing reality shows. She gave audition of DID little master and impressed the jury members: Geeta Kapoor, Ahmad Khan and Mudassar Khan. Later, she grabbed the title “DID Little Master season 3, 2014” by defeating Anushka Chetry, Sadhwin Shetty. Recently, she also won the title of “JHALAK DIKHLAA JAA season 9, 2017” by defeating Salman Yusuff Khan (winner of DID season 1, 2009) and Shantanu Maheshwari (world class hip-hop dancer). She has set the record by winning Jhalak through a wild card entry.On 29th  June 2014, Magar was honourned with the title “Lumbini Peace Ambassador” by the Kapilvastu Day Campaign.

  6. Cartoon Crewz:

    Nepali most popular B-Boying/Hip Hop Dance Group- Cartoon Crewz, formed in 2010 includes crew members: Beest, Pwale, Hulk, Sky, Virzil, Spidey, Spike and Bat. This crew took Nepali street dance to a whole new level and introduced Nepal in the world of dance. They won silver medal in the STREET DANCE COMPETITION, 2015 at World Leisure Games held in Qingdao, China. Over 30 dance crews had participated in that competition from around the world. They won many awards like:-
    – BOTY Nepal 2012- Battle, Winner
    – BOTY Nepal 2013- Best Show, Winner.
    – BOTY Nepal 2013- Battle, Runner Up.
    – R16 Nepal 2014-Battle, Runner Up.

We are so fortunate to have such great talents with us. We wish them all the very best for their future and hopes to seek such great talents within Nepal through various programs.
